The Pre-Qualification process begins with a phone call to John (858 495-1889) or Byron (858 495-1890) in which we ask you to provide the following information:
- Income (salary, bonus, overtime and any other income....)
- Debt (monthly payments and current balances on accounts, child support, alimony...)
- Credit history (have bills been paid on time?)
- Assets available for down payment and cash reserves (checking and savings balances, other liquid assets, retirement accounts, gift, stocks and bonds...)
- Other real estate (second home, rental, commercial property)
- Any other issue that may affect your financial status.
We can usually gather this information in a five minute phone call, analyze the information, then report to the buyer what the limits would be for a mortgage approval.
The next step is Pre-Approval.
